VISIT FROM ACIS
On the weekend of 29-30 September, we received two guests, Dominic
Muindi and David Steggall, of the Kenyan-based NGO, African
Community Initiative Support (ACIS).
After
their arrival, they visited the children presently living in
the annexe at the Pastor's house, while they were enjoying supper.

Each child wanted to be photographed ...
|
The following
morning, all the kids wanted to try out David's hat.
Josephat found that the hat was a bit big (or
his head was a bit small), but eventually managed to wear it and
still see what was going on!
Looks fine on Benta, but does it really go with
a Sunday Best frock, Perris?
... but Army thinks it suits him.
|
We
introduced two young boys, Emmanuel and Imani. They have just
lost their father when he was mugged and shot. They live with
their mother and four brothers and sisters.

They now need sponsorship to get them through
school.
|
We next took our visitors to the site of the Children's Home,

where new toothbrushes and pencils were handed out to each
shild.
But the real fun started when two frisbees were given to the
children.
